Attention Hoops Fans: It was another busy night for our boys basketball teams. Our As headed to Seton to take on the Chargers. In 7A action, it was the host Seton that was the more charged up team as our 7As suffered their first setback of the season with a narrow two point loss. Despite the loss, there was a lot to be learned and potential for growth moving forward. In 8A action, it was our Maple Leafs that took the shock to Seton, stunning them with a 30 point victory as our Maple Leafs were clicking on all cylinders. Our 7Bs had the night off but our 8Bs flew past the East Moline Christian Eagles. The home Eagles glided out to an 11-0 start in the first quarter but our Maple Leafs soared back and took the lead late in the 4th quarter and won 28-23. Great job, Leafs! Next up, 8B hosts Rivermont at home tonight at 4:30 and our As will be home Thursday with 7A tipoff at 4:00.
