6th grade senate sponsored a student and staff shoutout for the months of October and November. 70 students were shouted out by their peers, and 34 staff members. Mrs. Hepner, Landon Dwyer, Lillian May, Abby Egli, and Liam O'Hara you were randomly drawn, see Mrs. Johnson in room 604 today for your surprise. Let's light up the 6th grade hallway in December with more shoutouts. See your homeroom teacher for the student and staff shoutout light form. Keep up the Kindness!
Speaking of Kindness, Can you imagine a Christmas without presents? Well don't. Instead help. Help stop Christmases without presents and donate gifts to the 6th grade senate gift drive! The gift drive bin will be by the west entrance starting monday December 1st after Thanksgiving break for two weeks. For community members, the bin will be available outside the west doors after school hours from 3:30pm to 7:30pm during the weeks December 1st - 5th and the 8th - 12th. Spread some kindness this month!
Attention Hoops Fans: If you showed up during the 8th grade game last night, you might have thought you were at a high school game. The 8th grade Glenview Gators looked and played every bit like a high school team. Our 8As battled, playing tough and together but the Gators were simply too much. In the 7A game, each player made a positive impact and all those contributions added up to a win for our 7As. The next home game won't be until Monday, December 8. Enjoy your break everyone and Happy Thanksgiving.
