Scholastic Bowl: Congratulation to our 6th and 7th grade Scholastic Bowl team in yesterday’s match against Alwood! Great teamwork and focus led to an impressive win of 230-50. A big shout out to the 8th grade team also for their effort and determination; they lost a hard fought battle with a final score of 310-180. Congratulations to both teams for representing our school well!
Reminder: Chess Club meetings have moved to Wednesdays for the rest of February. Moving forward, meetings will be held for students who received a State Contender letter. We appreciate everyone’s effort and participation.
Attention Hoops Fans: Thanks to all the fans who came out wearing Pink last night to promote Breast Cancer Awareness and support our girls! 7Bs roared out to a 20-0 lead and closed out a great team win as this group continues to get better each day! 8Bs carried over that momentum with a strong start themselves racing out to a 15-7 lead. However, the Leafs went cold and lost the lead with 30 seconds left for a narrow loss. Next up, our As are home tonight with another Pink Zone. Come out. Wear pink. Be loud! Go Lady Leafs!
