American Heart Challenge: 3 days left to donate to the American Heart Challenge! Here’s today’s health fact, brought to you by the American Heart Challenge: Your heart is not going to start itself! Bystanders who see someone having cardiac arrest only perform CPR 46% of the time. Immediate CPR can double or triple a person’s chance of survival.
Ingenuity 1 wrapped up our Space Needle Challenge. Overall 93% of American League students met our criteria for success by creating a free standing, moveable tower that could hold a tennis ball in the top 25% for 30 seconds. Each hour had one group that stood above all of the others. Here are the Excellent Engineers for the Space Needle Challenge:
Period 1 - Georgia Maddox and Lily Littrel
Period 3 - Averie Simpson and Ace Maldonado
Period 4 - Zoey Yaklich, Carmela Guerrero, Breckyn Granell
Period 5 - Shelby Ash and Ledger Drake
Period 6 - Urijah Greene and Jayce DeSmith
Great work everyone!
