No tardies all year
No behavior referrals
No D’s, F’s, or 1’s and below in the gradebook
then you will be invited to our School MVP celebration during WIN this Friday!
Homeroom teachers will be handing out tickets Friday. Make sure to keep track of your ticket because you will need to show it to your WIN teacher to attend the celebration outside - yes you can bring your phone.
Great job to all of the students who have stayed committed to their education and made positive choices all year long!
Congratulations to our May Student Athletes of the month! Hadley Abbott and Bennett Mickley! Your coaches and teachers recognize all your hard work and effort on the team and in class! Everyone at GMS is proud of you! Way to go!

All GMS Yearbook staff members are invited to our end-of-year celebration on Monday, May 18th after school until 4:30pm. Join us to celebrate this year's book. Please let an advisor know if you cannot attend.
Just a reminder to keep looking for pictures of our amazing retirees: Mr. Johnson, Mr. Thomas, and Mrs. Hogue. If you find a picture, bring it to a lunch supervisor during lunch to turn it in for a piece of candy, and it will be added to our bulletin board. Challenge for everyone: when you see one of our retirees in the hallway, take a moment to stop and thank them or say something kind to show your appreciation.
Attention 8th Grade Boys Basketball Players: Freshmen Coach Jarron Nordstrom will be hosting a meeting tomorrow in Mr. Monier’s room in #602. The meeting will start at 7:45, or as soon as you can get there after 7:45. He will be sharing his contact information and gathering your information as well and giving an update on summer basketball opportunities. If you can’t make the meeting this Friday, please visit Coach Monier sometime next week. Go Leafs!
Middle school students — don’t miss Ag Club this Friday at 7:30 a.m. in the health room, room 801! We’re heading outside for fun games and activities, plus snacks and treats may be available. Bring your friends and come join us for our last meeting of the year!
