On Monday, GMS Softball won big over the Mercer County Golden Eagles 11-1. Mara Castro earned the win in the circle, striking out 9. Sienna Temperley, Chuck Spindel, Harper Peters and Natalia Smith each had two hits.
Last Night the girls beat Kewanee Central 16-1 in three innings. Samantha Minnaert-Yocum threw in the circle, with a solid defense behind her. Korie VonHolten and Tommie Bess entered the game in the 3rd inning and came up clutch with RBI’s for the team.
The next game is tomorrow at 4:30 at home vs. Annawan.
