Attention, GMS students! Are you interested in FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes? FCA is for all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders! We will meet before school on Tuesday mornings at 7:35 in the Small Gym by the office. We’ll talk about faith, play games, and have fun together! FCA starts Tuesday, September 8th. If you have morning sports, come when you’re finished! If you’re running late, just come when you can! We hope to see you there and bring a friend!
The GMS softball team kept things rolling last night. Mara Castro, Sophia Griffin, and Harper Peters all made an appearance in the circle the first game, and combined for a 12-0 win over Galva. Natalia Smith went 4 for 4 with 3 RBIs. Castro and Samantha Minnaert-Yocum both had doubles in the game. In game two GMS had doubles from Anna Carlson, Addie Ward, Morgan Bomleny, and Shae Robertson, and triples from Averie Simpson, London Doss, and Lilly Knackstedt. Bomleny, Knackstedt, and Kinsley Gripp combined for the 7-1 win in the circle. Tomorrow GMS softball will travel to Brimfield for a double header.
