Volleyball.
7th Grade. Washington was a wash, unfortunately the win didn't come home this time... Some key servers were Rylee Wagle with 3 Aces, Eden Ebert, Anna Carlson, Breckyn Granell, and Jocelyn Malzewski each with 2 Aces and Molly Dye with 1 Ace. Our front row brought some heat with Breckkyn and Jocelyn each with an Attack, and Morgan Bomleny and Molly with Bump kills, and Anna Carlson with a tip kill.... Next week is a big week with 3 games– come out and support the team!
The Geneseo 8th Grade Greens battled Washington Junior High in a three-set match, falling 2–1 with scores of 14–25, 25–27, and 15–4. The girls played some really smart and strategic volleyball, showed a lot of fight, and know exactly what they need to work on heading into the next game. Stat highlights: Aubrey DeGrave led from the service line with 6 aces and added 2 digs. Lilah Ruby followed with 5 aces. Defensively all of the back row players contributed with hard work and lots of digs. Our front row had plenty of successful attacks andAubrey added 2 assists.
A competitive night with plenty of positives to build on!
