Football. The 8th grade football team beat Edison last night. The guys played really hard and are showing a lot of improvement. Up next, they take on Washington at home on Thursday.

Volleyball. The Geneseo 8th Grade Greens had a great night against Riverdale, winning all four sets with scores of 21–17, 21–16, 21–4, and 21–17! The Greens had a strong all-around team performance with everyone contributing. Aubrey DeGrave led from the service line with 8 aces, followed by Aaliyah Medina with 6 and Charley Spindel with 4. Hadleigh Mendoza led the defense with 4 digs, while Charley added 3. At the net, Emmery Williamson and Aaliyah Medina each recorded 5 successful attacks. Aubrey also led the offense with 7 assists, while Parker Wilcox-Smith added 5. A great team effort and an impressive 4–0 sweep for the Greens!
Last night 7th grade Greens floated home from Riverdale with the big W! The teamwork came together and every player made their own splash! Call outs for Serves are Breckyn Granell with 7 aces, Chloe Schoonover with 5 aces, Jocelyn Malzewski 2, Eden Ebert, Rylee Wagle, Anna Carlson, Molly Dye, each with 1 ace! The net play call outs are Jocelyn with 3 attacks, Anna C. with a tip and 2 attacks, Molly with 2 attacks, Anna Meits with 1 Attack, Eden and Rylee both with a Tip each, and Morgan Bomleny with a Bump Kill! Chloe and Rylee each had a dig in the back row! Come watch Green tonight at Home!!
7th grade played an awesome game against Washington, bringing home the win. We had amazing serves and offense from Ivery Hull, and Lilly Whitney had some great touches at the net. Remi Mariman secured the win with 3 great aces at the end of the third. Way to go, 7th grade!
8th grade played hard, but fell short against Washington. Savanna DeSplinter and Henley Cirrcione had good serves. Natalia Smith and Amelia Shannon had awesome plays at the net.
