Volleyball. The Geneseo 8th Grade Greens hosted Colona Middle School and came away with a 2–1 victory! Geneseo won the first set 25–16, battled through a tough 20–25 second set, and came back strong to take the deciding set 15–10.

Aubrey DeGrave: 3 aces, 2 digs, 3 attacks & 2 assists
Emmy Williamson: 2 aces & a team-high 6 attacks
Parker Wilcox-Smith: 1 ace, 1 dig, 1 attack & 4 assists
Hadleigh Mendoza: 5 digs
Beau Bomleny: 1 ace & 2 attacks
The Greens showed great resilience after dropping the second set and responded when it mattered most to finish the night with the win! Great teamwork all around!
For 7th Grade, we cut it close with Colona, but the Win was just out of reach! Key servers were Breckyn Granell with 4 aces, Anna Carlson and Rylee Wagle with 2 aces, Eden Ebert and Jocelyn Malzewski with 1 each. We had a great night of Digs happening all around the court, Digs by Molly Dye -2, Eden, Morgan Vomleny, Anna C and Breckyn each with 1, Kills at the net were Anna C with 3, Jocelynn having 2 and Eden and Molly each with 1... Thats the end of games this week but next week Greens are home Monday and Thursday and Whites are home Wednesday!
