Football.
Last night, the 8th grade football team traveled to Galesburg for their final game. Geneseo had a 10 minute scoring drive to open the game. The defense played well and pitched a shut out. They won 6 to 0 and are conference champs. Congratulations guys!

Volleyball.
The GMS 8th Grade Greens finished their season at Wilson, falling in three tough sets, 22–25, 12–25, and 8–15. Everyone got time on the court, and the girls finished the season together as a team!
Aaliyah Medina led with 5 attacks and 3 digs, followed by Aubrey DeGrave with 3 attacks and Hannah DeJohn with 2. Parker Wilcox-Smith recorded 4 assists, while Aubrey and Hannah each added 1. Aubrey, Parker, Charley Spindel, and Beau Bomleny each served an ace. Aubrey, Beau, Kinsley Gripp, and Gia Parrish each contributed a dig. These girls have improved, grown, and shown just how much they’ve learned throughout the season. Coach Vorac is beyond proud of every one of them!
The final game for 7th grade greens was quite wild against the Wilson Wildcats, we played a crazy comeback and won the second game but we weren't able to pull the over all win, Servers were Breckyn Granell with 6 Aces. Anna Carlson had 4 Aces, Eden Ebert and Jocelyn Malzewski with 2 Aces each. It was a quiet night at the net, Jocelyn had a kill and a bump kill, Molly Dye had a kill, and Eden had a tip! The stats on paper do not show the heart and growth this team had through out the season! From Coach Miller can not wait to see what the does next year! keep working and growing as a team and individual players!
