Attention Hoops Fans: Our GMS boys basketball teams tipped off the season last night with our B teams traveling to take on the Hampton Hawks. Our 7Bs battled tough versus Hampton's feisty full-court press and 1-3-1 defense but the Hawks swooped in late to take the lead and hang on for a 23-19 victory. In 8B action, our Leafs were trailing after the first quarter but settled in and grounded the Hawks. Our Leafs controlled the rest of the game cruising to a 33-7 Leafs victory. Our Boys will be home this Thursday. Hope to see you there! Go Leafs!
On Monday, November 2nd, we will have wrestling open mats from 3:30–5:00 in the small gym. If you haven’t signed up yet, that’s okay! Come out, learn how to wrestle, and get ready for the upcoming season. Go Leafs!
