The GMS Yearbook staff will meet today after school until 4:30pm. Please bring a drink to the meeting and meet in the GMS library. If you cannot attend, please let an advisor know soon.
OSP meets Wednesday morning in the library before school. Even if you missed our first meeting, any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade reader is welcome to attend to find out how to join the On the Same Page reading club.
If you would like to take place in the Teen Read Cafe in the library Friday morning, tickets can still be picked up in the GMS library. We will be having donuts as we learn about your freedom to read in awareness of Banned Books Week.
Last night the XC team competed at the Pioneer Pacers Invite. Despite the heat, the team performed well & had quite a few PR’s! The girls finished 1st by more than 50 points & the boys finished 3rd in a close race for 2nd.. Medaling for the girls in the varsity race were Brooklyn Smith (1st), Ayla Schultz (4th), Aya Stroh (5th), & Lucy Wachtel (6th). Medaling in the boys varsity race were Jack Kreiss (2nd) and Owen Finegan (8th). In the open girls race, Alivia Brown placed 3rd & Ella Taylor placed 5th. In the open boys race, Kael McCord finished 2nd, Henley Bourne finished 4th, Alex Aleman finished 6th, and Connor Runty finished 8th. Great job to all runners!
