For now, be sure you are staying on top of your grades. There is no quarter 2 reset button. The grades you are getting now will matter come basketball season. Lastly, if you are wanting to play, be sure you are turning in a physical to the office. You must have a physical turned in before you can practice. If you have any questions please see Mr. Monier.

Attention NFL Pick Em: Reminder, our weekly routine is Tuesday after lunch the new pick em sheet becomes available. Wednesday morning is when we grade. Thursday is the day you get to hear these wonderful announcements and also the day your pick em sheet is due. For Week 2, congratulations to the duo of Khloe VonHolten and Brynn Kinney by scoring 104 points. Enjoy your lunch outside with a friend. For the overall standings, if the season ended today, the team of Landon French, Gibson Minard, and Wyatt Mickely would be enjoying lunch of their choice from somewhere in Geneseo. However, it is not the end of season and you are not getting a lunch of your choice. If anyone ever needs to double check the grading of their sheet please see Mr. Monier. Lastly, if you are ever absent, you are always welcome to check Mr. Monier’s blog for a blank pick em sheet and then you can email in your picks. Thanks, and good luck to all in week 3!

The Green 8th grade football team traveled to Washington yesterday. Washington used some trickery to take a 13 to 0 halftime lead. The Greens continued to play hard in the second half, but their effort fell short and they lost 19 to 8.
