October 7:

The GMS Dance for 7th and 8th graders will be held on Friday, October 14th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.  Here are a few things you need to know before you attend:

  • The GMS dress code will apply. If you wouldn’t wear it to school, you probably shouldn’t wear it to the dance.  Check the GMS handbook for details.

  • All discipline time must be served.

  • All registration fees must be paid. Check with your parents about this.

  • Students need to arrive by 7:30 pm and stay until at least 8:45 pm

  • The admission cost is $5.00.  Pop is available for 50 cents.

Important Reminder for today during ASAP.  Students who earned a ticket for MAP Accelerator need to check in with your ASAP teacher to redeem your ticket. Students who choose the RECESS option - don't forget to bring your ticket with you AFTER checking in for attendance!  Recess will be outside the East doors at the end of the 6th grade hallway. Enjoy your Free Day!!!

The Book Fair will be here Monday thru Thursday next week. Go to the library homepage for a link to the schedule and this year's video preview.

The next GMS yearbook staff meeting will be Tuesday, October 11th after school until 4:30pm.  Meet in the library.  If you cannot attend, be sure to let an advisor know.
