The GMS Dance for 7th and 8th graders will be held on Friday, October 14th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Here are a few things you need to know before you attend:
The GMS dress code will apply. If you wouldn’t wear it to school, you probably shouldn’t wear it to the dance. Check the GMS handbook for details.
All discipline time must be served.
All registration fees must be paid. Check with your parents about this.
Students need to arrive by 7:30 pm and stay until at least 8:45 pm
The admission cost is $5.00. Pop is available for 50 cents.
The Geneseo Public Library Writing Club will meet today at 3:30 pm. Stop at the office window for an information sheet.

The next GMS yearbook staff meeting will be today after school until 4:30pm. Meet in the library. If you cannot attend, be sure to let an advisor know.
The 8th grade whites Volleyball team beat Wilson Monday night! Top servers for the night were Mia Balensiefen 10 points (2 aces), Megan Hursman 9 points, Callie Copeland 8 points, Lilly Brown 9 points (1 ace) Mia recorded 6 kills and Vi Pettit 9 kills.
To help celebrate National School Lunch week, the cafeteria staff would love you to dress up in your groovy 70’s clothes this Thursday. The homeroom with the most participants will receive free cookies from the cafeteria.
