October 12:

The GMS Dance for 7th and 8th graders will be held on Friday, October 14th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.  Here are a few things you need to know before you attend:

  • The GMS dress code will apply. If you wouldn’t wear it to school, you probably shouldn’t wear it to the dance.  Check the GMS handbook for details.

  • All discipline time must be served.

  • All registration fees must be paid. Check with your parents about this.

  • Students need to arrive by 7:30 pm and stay until at least 8:45 pm

  • The admission cost is $5.00.  Pop is available for 50 cents.  

Tomorrow is the final day of the Book Fair. We will also be open during Parent Teacher conferences Thursday night from 4-8 p.m., so bring your family shopping!

Attention 7th and 8th Grade Boys Basketball Players: Practice begins Monday! You must have a physical turned in to be able to practice. 7th grade is in the morning before school and 8th grade is after school. You can pick up a schedule in your PE/health classes or from Mr. Monier. 

To help celebrate National School Lunch week, the cafeteria staff would love you to dress up in your groovy 70’s clothes tomorrow.  The homeroom with the most participants will receive free cookies from the cafeteria.

7th Grade Whites Volleyball WON all three games against Wilson Monday night. Top servers were Mollie Parr with 3 aces, Camryn Ebert with 7 aces, and Katherine Barickman with 9 aces.

The 7th Grade Green Volleyball Team came away with a big conference win against Jordan last evening.  Top servers for the night were Addison Snell, Hayleigh Kent , Kyla Strode and Tessa Courtright  who served the winning point to seal the victory.  Come out tonight to support the girls in their last game of the season!

Builders Club will meet Friday morning in the Large Group Room at 7:40. At our meeting, we will be putting together our "Farmers Bags".
