October 13:

The GMS Dance for 7th and 8th graders will be held on Friday, October 14th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.  Here are a few things you need to know before you attend:

  • The GMS dress code will apply. If you wouldn’t wear it to school, you probably shouldn’t wear it to the dance.  Check the GMS handbook for details.

  • All discipline time must be served.

  • All registration fees must be paid. Check with your parents about this.

  • Students need to arrive by 7:30 pm and stay until at least 8:45 pm

  • The admission cost is $5.00.  Pop is available for 50 cents.

Today is your last chance to visit the Book Fair. Don't forget to bring your parents with you tonight between 4-8 p.m. After today, you can still visit the online fair to place orders that can be delivered to school. Thanks for your support all week!

Attention NFL Pick Em: We had several break the 100 point barrier this week but it was Mrs. Henderson who came out on top with 106 points. Way to go Mrs. Henderson! Mr. Verner gave a great effort coming in 2nd place this week. In the overall standings, Mrs. Morrell still leads the way!  Picks are due by the end of the day today. Good luck!

Attention 7th and 8th Grade Boys Basketball Players: Practice begins Monday! You must have a physical turned in to be able to practice. 7th grade is in the morning before school and 8th grade is after school. You can pick up a schedule in your PE/health classes or from Mr. Monier.

Builders Club will meet Friday morning in the Large Group Room at 7:40. At our meeting, we will be putting together our "Farmers Bags".

Wow what a night for the 7th  Grade Greens volleyball team!  After a long wait for the opposing team to arrive, the greens came away with a victory winning two very close sets against Glenview.  Top servers for the night were Maddie DeJohn, Addison Snell, Kyla Strode, Olivia Yost and Maycie Sims.  Great job Greens and thanks for a great season!

Congratulations to the 8th Grade Greens Volleyball team on a great season!

The 8th grade football teams wrapped up their seasons last night with the Green/White game. The teams were split evenly at the beginning of the season and that showed as last night’s game had to be decided in overtime.   It will be exciting to watch them play freshman football as one team. Great job this year and good luck in high school.
