ParentSquare introduction

Beginning with the 2025-26 school year, Geneseo Community Unit School District #228's schools will use ParentSquare for school communications with parents and guardians.

Parents of enrolled students will receive an email to activate their ParentSquare account. Once your account is activated, you will be able to personalize your notification settings. If you do not make changes to your notification settings, you will automatically receive a Daily Digest around 6:00 p.m. which will include any messages sent throughout the day.

Please note that emergency notifications cannot be turned off and will be sent to you immediately regardless of your notification settings.
