We love the partnership we share with Junior Achievement. They create ready to use, hands-on lessons for volunteers to teach everything from problem solving skills to lessons on our communities. 5th grade students end with an off-campus trip to "Biz-Town" which is always one of the highlights of the year! Pictured are fourth grade students learning about trading resources and goods.

Kindness Week was a hit at Millikin! Students and staff were both recognized for acts, big and small. Seeking kindness and positivity helped make it a great week in our building.

Students in Millikin PE classes rehearsed and performed a jump rope show for classmates. The performance was complete with guest judges and spotlights.

We are inviting all parents, students, and teachers to participate in the annual 5Essentials Survey. This mandatory state survey from the Illinois Board of Education helps us gather vital data on our performance and impacts our Illinois Report Card score.
It only takes about 10 minutes and can be completed on any device—including your phone! Your voice helps us grow.

We are so happy to be back outside for recess this week! Just a reminder that our elementary schools go out for recess if the feels like temp is over 10 degrees. Bundle up and please reach out to your school's social worker if you could use assistance with winter clothing.
