GMS 6th grade social studies students spent time role-playing what it was like to be in the Senate during Ancient Rome. They learned about and practiced "bribing" other senate members during their simulations in order to feed their poor citizens, made plans to invade Gaul and other new or disputed territories, and debated whether they should or would build new infrastructure like aqueducts or roads.







Geneseo Middle School principal Nate O'Dell recognized five students at Thursday's Board of Education meeting for their leadership, making a positive impact at GMS, and winning a variety of awards.
Congratulations to Jacey Gehl (IESA Scholar Award), Luca Turigliatti (DAR Award), Alivia Brown (IPA Student Leader Award), Jaxson Seals (IPA Student Leader Award) and Quinn Cherry (DAR Award), all of whom also received a Maple Leaf Medallion!

GMS 8th grade students in Sci Tech with Mr. Pardoe were busy working on their current modules with their partners. Lots of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) module choices to help fit the interests of our students.

The 14th Annual On the Same Page finale was a huge success this past week. OSP leaders organized escape rooms and spy puzzles just like the book for this year "City Spies." Congrats on a great event GMS OSP!










Nothing better than Fine Arts Day in Geneseo. GMS students and staff visited our Elementary Schools today in order to share their passion for music and the arts with our youngest students.





Pi Day at GMS was full of session activities like stations area solving, 3.14 bracelet creation Pi T-shirt design, and even eating some pie!
