Our preschool students are absolutely loving their new soft surface on the playground. Thank you so much to the Geneseo Foundation for your generous donation. Students are definitely putting it to good use.





The Geneseo High School boys’ and girls’ tennis teams, along with the Geneseo Community Tennis Association and United States Tennis Association, will host a National Tennis Night Out at the GHS tennis courts (700 N. State St.) on Friday, May 5 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Every student at Northside gets a free book throughout the year through the PTA Celebration Book Club Event. Students are eager and excited to read their new book. Thank you to the PTA for your great support and helping increase our students love for reading.




Performances for this year's spring musical, Seussical™, will take place this week at GHS. Tickets for the upbeat, family-friendly show featuring your favorite Dr. Seuss characters are $15 each and can be purchased online or at the door. 2nd Grade students at Northside had a blast ending up their measurement unit with some hands on learning. They got to measure their classmates length in inches and feet.





Fifth graders from Millikin, Northside and Southwest elementary schools got a taste of the real world when they visited JA BizTown last week.

Geneseo schools will be dismissing 1 hour early on Tuesday afternoon due to the severe weather in our area. Lunch will be offered to students as usual. There will be no afternoon preschool, S.A.F.E., sports or extracurriculars this afternoon and evening. Stay safe!


Northside is so proud of our March Students of the Month. These students are doing great things each and every day. A group of future leaders for sure.


Northside's 5th grade students had a great time and learned a lot on last week's field trip to Junior Achievement's BizTown. Each student was fantastic with their job and learned some wonderful skills.


Registration for new and returning students must be completed online for the 2023-24 school year. Early registration for Pre-K and Kindergarten students will open on April 17 at 8:00 am and close on May 12 at 3:00 pm. Geneseo schools will be dismissing 2 hours early on Friday afternoon due to the high risk of severe weather. Lunches will be offered to students before they are released. Afternoon preschool and S.A.F.E. have been cancelled and there will be no sports or extracurriculars this evening. Stay safe and have a nice weekend!

March Madness Week is still going strong at Northside. 2nd Grade is practicing their jump shots and are excited to be future Leafs and Lady Leafs. Lots of fun and ability in the gym.





It was March Madness Week at Northside. Congratulations to our future basketball All Stars on a tough victory in the Knockout Challenge. Congratulations to the grade winners!


Northside Students created a masterpiece at Family Reading Night. They had a lot of fun as well. One of many great activities that night.
