The fall play this year is “Down to Earth,” a comedy in which two full-fledged angels descend to earth to pick up two elderly souls. Performances will be on Thursday, October 17 at 7 p.m., Saturday, October 19 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, October 20 at 3 p.m. Tickets will only be available at the door for $10 each. Students at GMS are not just learning, they are experiencing and exploring alongside their phenomenal teachers. In math, kids are performing Kung Fu Order of Operations this week, and in Social Studies, they're traveling to a Sumerian School in order to become clay tablet scribes.










Congrats to Dylan Gehl and Caroline Girten. They were selected by staff as our August Elks Students of the Month. Staff recognized their outstanding leadership in the classroom and in the community!


What an incredible season our GMS girls and boys golf teams have had. Yesterday and today, 5 boys and 3 girls traveled to Peoria to golf 18 holes at IESA sectionals and come away with top 50 individual and 5th place team performances. Congrats to Trace Hager (89) and Gavin Davis (94) for amazing rounds and placing in the top 15. Congrats also to Annie Reed, Madison Kuethe, Avery Emmerson, Owen Pollock, Ethan Temperly, and Zak O'Dell for personal best performances at sectionals. Way to go GMS!

There will be a freshman mixer tonight from 4-5 p.m. for freshmen in the GHS tennis court pavilion before the football game. The F/S game against Alleman starts at 5 and the varsity game versus Noble/Comer begins at 7 p.m.
