This week is "National Assistant Principals Week," a celebration of the unsung heroes in our education system. These dedicated folks work tirelessly to bolster teachers, motivate students, support their principal, create a positive learning community, and face the many unpredictable challenges that land on their desk.

Geneseo High School held its "Students of the Quarter" breakfast celebration this morning for third quarter. Teachers nominate students "Who make their day brighter!" Students and their parents/guardians have a nice breakfast with our staff and are recognized. Congrats to all!
Congratulations to Northside kindergarten teacher Jacelyn Mannon on her Maple Leaf Medallion award. Mrs. Mannon goes above and beyond to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all of her students. She makes sure that every child in her room feels loved.

GMS 8th grade students in Sci Tech with Mr. Pardoe were busy working on their current modules with their partners. Lots of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) module choices to help fit the interests of our students.
The GHS Jazz Show will take place this Thursday, April 4, at 7 p.m. General admission tickets (no reserve seating) will be sold at the door for $8 each with cash, check or debit/credit cards all accepted. 5th Grade Students at Northside had an amazing time preparing for the real world at Biz Town through Junior Achievement. Definitely some great future employees in this bunch.

5th grade students enjoyed a tremendous learning opportunity at JA BizTown. Students practiced skills such as operating banks, writing checks, and other business and community practices. The JA staff shared many compliments regarding the preparation and respect of our students!
