Here are our GHS "Perfect Week" winners. Each Friday we randomly select a student from each grade level that had perfect attendance and conduct. These students will meet with Mr. Mosier and receive their choice of free Casey's pizza or candy.
One of our favorite traditions at GHS is our Student of the Quarter Breakfast!
This special event brings together students, parents/guardians, and staff to celebrate the students who make our days brighter. Each student receives a certificate, but one of the most meaningful parts of the morning is hearing staff members share why they nominated their student. From a positive attitude and a willingness to help others to kindness, perseverance, and the little things that don’t always get noticed, these stories remind us of the impact our students have on our school community.
These breakfasts are a great reminder that success isn’t measured only by grades, awards, or accomplishments. Sometimes, it’s the way you treat others, the effort you put in, and the positive energy you bring each day that makes you stand out.
Congratulations to all of our Students of the Quarter! We are proud of you and grateful for the ways you make GHS a better place!

🎃🍁 A Little Friendly Competition Goes a Long Way! 🍁🎃
This morning, our Geneseo High School teachers and staff had some fun decorating pumpkins with their departments! While the pumpkins are a great way to celebrate the season, mornings like this are about so much more than just pumpkins.
Taking time to laugh, be creative, and enjoy each other’s company helps build the relationships and connections that make GHS special. A positive school culture starts with people who enjoy working together, support one another, and have fun along the way. When we invest in our staff, it makes our school a better place for everyone, including our students!
The pumpkins are on display in the art hallway, and students will have all next week to vote for their favorite. The winning department will take home a prize and, of course, some serious bragging rights!
Students- Be sure to check them out and cast your vote!
