Geneseo High School is inviting local veterans to attend and be honored at a Veterans Day assembly on Friday, Nov. 10. Veterans interested in attending should enter through the library lobby doors (700 N. Our school district is proud to recognize Mr. Randy Bormann, who was recently presented with a Maple Leaf Medallion by Superintendent Dr. Adam Brumbaugh.
As Director of Maintenance, Bormann was instrumental in ensuring the HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems throughout our buildings continued to run during the record-setting heat at the beginning of this school year, allowing us to keep students in the classroom.
Now in his 21st year with District 228, Randy has overseen approximately $45 million in projects that have improved our schools, including the recent construction of the Career and Technical Education Center at GHS. Congrats on this long overdue honor, Randy, and thank you for your steadfast commitment to Teach-Learn-Care.
