"As a student teacher here, I loved seeing the culture of the school and community and I was so happy with the care they have for their students," says Haley. Congratulations to our most recent recipients of a Maple Leaf Medallion at Millikin Elementary! Mrs. VanHyfte, Mrs. Wyffels, and Mrs. Holevoet make significant contributions supporting teachers and students in the classroom and keeping our students safe on the playground. They are also adaptable and substitute in classrooms as needed. We are blessed to have these outstanding para professionals!
As the 2023-24 school year begins to wind down, teachers throughout Geneseo Community Unit School District #228 are being recognized as part of National Teacher Day (May 7) and Teacher Appreciation Week (May 6-10).
